Classes for Adults

Wednesdays & Sundays

1.5 to 2 hours / every other week
Standard: £ 6.50 / hr

Advanced: £ 8 / hr

Every other week in 2 locations: Hounslow & Wimbledon (2 hours)

PHYSICAL CLASSES ARE RESUMING!

Winter Term 2023:

  • Virtual classes are every other week delivered over Zoom (1.5 hours, Wednesdays & Sundays)

  • Physical classes are every other week at Wimbledon (2 hours, Sundays)

Things you need for your virtual class:

  • an internet connection – broadband or fibre is best

  • a PC or laptop with speakers, microphone and webcam (built-in or separate)

  • or either a smartphone or tablet with all of the above

  • the Zoom application downloaded (free of charge) onto your device

PUNASHCHA: School of Rabindra Sangeet, founded by Mrs Shyamali Basu following the traditional style of Visvabharati Shantiniketan. As premiered on Facebook on 31 July 2020: Punashcha Student Showcase #5 Punashcha School of Rabindra Sangeet is delighted to be able to showcase its students and members through this Facebook Page on Fridays at 5pm BST. This week we'll have a few of our students giving you a sample of some of the songs we are learning in class. We will also be sharing a past clip from one of live stage performances, to reminisce those days and to look forward to more live stage performances in the future! PUNASHCHA: School of Rabindra Sangeet, founded by Mrs Shyamali Basu following the traditional style of Visvabharati Shantiniketan. As premiered on Facebook on 7 August 2020: Punashcha Student & Member Showcase #6 Finale: Baishe Srabon (২২শে শ্রাবণ) Special Punashcha School of Rabindra Sangeet has been delighted to showcase its students and members through this Facebook Page for the past weeks and we are so glad that so many of our well-wishers, friends and family members have been able to join us in sharing our love for Tagore's music, poetry and dance. This final Punashcha Student & Member Showcase falls on "Baishe Srabon (২২শে শ্রাবণ)," Tagore's 79th death anniversary. This week, we have some more of our dedicated members performing for the Finale. Without their support and dedication, Punashcha wouldn't be the school and community it is.
